Tom Brady is just so dominant, even with a mediocre receiving corpse. Peyton Manning has an excuse, but his drop isn't because he is bad. Everybody above him is just too good. Favre is at 32 due to health issues. I really don't believe in Troy Smith or Vince Young. VY should be the one axed from the Titans. His mechanics are arguably the worst in the NFL. All Young can do is run and throw far. Heck, every QB can throw it far.
I placed Vick at 6, but he is in no way a top 5 QB. Aaron Rodgers was a guy I wanted to put at first, but Drew Brees is just so accurate. Nobody tops the Breeze in the Bayou. Manning barely closes off Flacco as Flacco barely closes of Matty Ice. I just feel that Flacco really knows how to get wins, and Manning made Dominik Hixon look like a star player.
As good as Ryan is, he gets a ton of help out of Roddy, Douglas, Jenkins, and Gonzo. He has some great complimentary players around him. Atlanta wins because their offensive personnel really work off of eachother nicely. That's important and often overlooked- ahem Cowboys- in the NFL today. The top 20 QBs are all talented players.
For Orton, life will be tougher after the stupid Brian Xanders fired Josh McDaniels. JMc gave them their passing offense- all the Broncs have this year- and they will look even worse. Here's to you Xanders. The guy that traded Hillis for crap and got rid of all the other stars on your team. You are the league's worst GM. When you rank QBs, you see that there is a lot of depth at that position.
