2010 FIFA World Team Predictions by Jeff Golub
November 28th 2010 12:43
The 2010 FIFA World team is when players around the world vote who they think was the best that year based on a ballot.
I've made a list here about who I think should be voted.
GK: Iker Casillas
D: Philipp Lahm
D: Sergio Ramos
D: Lucio
D: Maicon
M: Wesley Sneijder
M: Thomas Muller
M: Xavi
S: Arjen Robben
S: Diego Milito
S: Lionel Messi
I picked Milito and Sneijder because Sneijder was the Goal.com player of the year and Milito was FIFA's, and because they just did great. I put on Robben looking partially at this season's perspective, knowing how bad Bayern are doing without him, I also put him on because he was good and was named best in the Bundesliga (and of all German players in the world) by Kicker. Xavi was also named because he is a great passer.
I named Muller because he is great at scoring and during the the World Cup he did great. I put on Maicon because he did just great as a defender. Lucio was put on because he was good with both Brazil and Inter. Sergio Ramos was put on because he was the best in the World Cup according to the Castrol rankings. I picked Lahm as he did great in World Cup, in that Cup he was third in Castrol rankings. Casillas was put on as he preformed great at his position allowing him to be the keeper I choose.

great list, (I think..I'm not a big officiando) but, WHERE ARE THE AUSSIES??? HMMM??
hehe!
I just hope the Aussies and the Yanks work on exposing those cheating bastards that drop down as if hit by a brick, when no one is near them!
Jeez that pisses me off!!
The Italians are absolute masters at it, and were filmed actually practising a fake fall beofre the last worlld cup, when Aussies were in there having a go.
Anyway, oh, my fave footy team, is San Diego, same for baseball.
GO PADRES!!
GO CHARGERS!!!!
My sister lives in San Diego, (she married an American) hence my patronage! As a kid, my dad would come back form the States with great presents, baseball jackets, cowboy boots, but he would'nt bring me a sombrero!
Always wanted one, never got it!
cheers

QUOTE ME NO QUOTES!
okay Joe, sorry, I didn't know.
Next time, get Jeff, or whoever is posting, to put their by-line at the top of the article first, so we know who it is writing the article.
Anyway, the comments I made were still open for a response from you, or anyone actually.
cheers

P.S. Another hint for increasing community interaction and site promotion, always address who you reply to, in friendly manner (unless they are rude, of course) , and always respond to a comment left by someone. This really helps build up a presence on Orble. Good luck and have fun!
