Big Mac and D-Train

I caught you with a little header on there. Mark McGwire's wife gave birth to triplets. They are three girls. Great job McGwire!
Matt Kemp led off the 10th with the game winning homer off the struggling Juan Gutierrez to beat the D'Backs. The Braves won their seventh straight- thanks to Tim Hudson. This was against the Phillies.
The Detroit Tigers continue their salary dumping trades. Struggling former star Dontrelle Willis was dealt to the Arizona Diamondbacks. The Tigers are sending cash to pay for quite a bit of Willis's deal. The Tigers are getting horrible reliever Billy Buckner. This buddy got sent to AAA after the deal due to a lack of roster space. Willis is a D- and cash is a B. Buckner is an F. D'backs win that one.
The Pittsburgh Pirates acquired Dana Eveland for right handed pitching prospect Ronald Uviedo to the Toronto Blue Jays. I like this deal for both teams, because I know that Eveland can pitch. 2008 was an OK year. He makes less than 500K. Uviedo looks pretty good.
Center fielder Jonathan Van Every is an OK backup, and the Pittsburgh Pirates also acquired him. I like the deal for the Pirates, because they gave the Boston Red Sox a terrible catching prospect named Josue Peley.
Roy Oswalt is eyeing three big teams in a potential trade. The St. Louis Cardinals, the Yanks, and the Phils are teams he would wave his no-trade clause for. You have to win a ring Oswalt!
When the Braves got Javier Vazquez from the White Sox, they gave up top flight catching prospect Tyler Flowers. Flowers is struggling right now, so the Sox are waiting on him to come round in AAA. This is holding up a much awaited A.J. Pierzynski trade away.
Jerry Manuel will probably not be fired. Stephen Strasburg will be limited to 95 innings. Hold up fantasy Broncos!
