Lebron James 26 as Cavaliers defeat Knicks.
Lebron James led the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 119-101 victory over the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden. James scored 26 points, going 7-14 from the field, 3 of 7 from three point range, and 9 of 11 from the charity stripe. The Cavaliers are now 11-3 and in first place in the Central Division of the Eastern Conference. They are seeded second in the Eastern Conference, behind only the Boston Celtics. The Knicks, who many people believe are going to go after James when he becomes a free agent in 2010, are now 7-7 and in 3rd place in the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference, 5.5 games behind the Boston Celtics. They are currently the 7th seed in the Eastern Conference.
