Celtics beat 76ers 102-78.

November 29th 2008 06:00
The Boston Celtics proved that there is a big difference between the elite teams and the mediocre ones, 24 points to be exact, as the Celtics cruised to a 102 -78 victory over the 76ers. Ray Allen again led the Celtics, pouring in 24 points on 10 of 15 shooting and 3 of 5 from beyond the arc. Kendrick Perkins led the Celtics with seven rebounds, and he also had four block shots. Rajon Rondo led the Celtics with twelve assists. Elton Brand was the bright spot for the 76ers, who fell to 7-9 with the loss, by scoring 18 points and grabbing 8 rebound. The 76ers are currently in last place in the Atlantic Division of the Eastern conference, 7.5 games behind the division and conference leading Boston Celtics, and they are out of a playoff seed, with New Jersey holding the 8th seed with a 7-7 record.
