Drew Brees is SportGreats Offensive Player of the Year. He passed for 5069 yards, which was second best all time, falling 15 yards short of Dan Marino's record. He also threw 34 touchdown passes, which tied him with Phillip Rivers for the league lead, and he threw 17 interceptions. He finished with a 96.2 quarterback rating. Unfortunately, Drew's team, the New Orleans Saints, finished with an 8-8 record, and they were out of the playoffs.
