Eagles blowout Cardinals 48-20.

November 28th 2008 05:04
Donovan McNabb responded to his benching last week by throwing for 260 yards and 4 TDs as the Eagles ate Cardinal instead of Turkey for their Thanksgiving Feast. Brian Westbrook scored four touchdowns, two on the ground and two through the air. He also rushed for 110 yards on 22 carries. The Cardinals dropped to 7-4, and they are almost a lock to win their division because it is so poor. They have a four game lead with five to play, but they have lost their last two games, and many pundits are saying they are not ready for the "Big Time", because they have lost handily to two quality teams from the NFC East in the Giants and the Eagles. Kurt Warner was 21/39 for 235 yards and 3 touchdowns, but he also had three critical interceptions. The Cardinals abandoned the run early because they fell behind. They only gained 25 yards on ten carries. The Eagles are 5-5-1, and they are probably going to have to win out to have any serious chance at making the playoffs.
