What a stupid trade. I looked at what Marty Hurney did. What a loser. I have always wondered how this imbecile got a job as a GM in the NFL.
The Carolina Panthers and the worst GM in history traded star safety Chris Harris for a reserve linebacker named Jamar Williams. Was it age? No. Chris Harris is 27, which is only two years older than Williams. Harris is a proven leader defensively, Williams has never started a game in his career.
Matt Hurney has been shedding payroll just to keep his greedy owner Richardson happy. They both are raising ticket prices. This is why we have a CBA argument. It's because these jerks want all this money when they are richer than everybody else in the world. The old CBA was fine, but these guys realized that they just want more. They realized that their zealous search for more is endless.
Hurney has made garbage deals and decisions like this since he came to Carolina. Richardson has been no better. He is an old owner that only cares about the money he collects. Doggone it, just retire. You've made Panthers' fans like me angry for these past two years. Forget it. Go eat and spit your dogma out somewhere else.
In other news, the Arizona Cardinals added another player to their hopeless offensive line core. Veteran guard Alan Faneca got himself a one year deal. He helps, but they are still a pitiful bunch at that position.
Tim Tebow's jersey is selling lot hotcakes. In my honest opinion, I wouldn't spend a dime on a Tebow jersey. Well I would, but only to resell it. In fact, this jersey is the fastest selling jersey of a rookie of all time. Thanks a lot for beating my bud Mark Sanchez.
The New York Jets love the idea of signing veteran free agents from AFC East teams. Players that played in that same division as them. The word on the newspapers- Newark Star-Ledger- is that Adalius Thomas will go to the Jets. Thomas is an ex-Raven so he knows Rex Ryan well. We all know Coach Ryan's love affair for ex-Ravens. How about ex-Girlfriends Rexie? I had to put that one in there.
Star rookie tight end Aaron Hernandez fell in the draft because he failed a drug test. Big surprise, most of these rookies are on something. This guy was on pot. Brian Westbrook will be signed by the St. Louis Rams in the near future. He will be a strong veteran presence backing up superstar rusher Stephen Jackson. I am glad Westbrook passed his physical and will get a job. He won't do so well on the sour Rams' O-Line. Older running backs are greatly affected by bad offensive lines.
John Henderson is talking with the Kansas City Chiefs. Henderson has some game in him and could help my LSU guys Tyson Jackson and Glenn Dorsey. Speaking of those two, the New York Jets finally got it right. Vernard Gholston is known as a bust, but he will get a last chance. Gholston will be moved from linebacker to his natural playing position at defensive end. I predict a breakout year. Some good Rex Ryan coaching, Bart Scott and Shaun Ellis advice, and his old position back will all translate well. I really don't think he is a bust. In other words, I haven't given up on him.
