LeBron and Amare News

June 9th 2010 14:46
I am going to go right through these NBA rumors. Most of them are about free agency and our friend James.

Amare Stoudamire is opting out of his contract. You may be thinking that he is leaving Phoenix. As a Suns fan, I am glad to say that he isn't.

"We've got the fans excited about basketball again," Stoudemire said. "So what I don't want is for me to have to leave and the fans are now not quite as excited about the game here. I want to keep the hype, want to keep the fans involved, want to keep everybody ecstatic about the

He wants a new and maximum deal just so he can stay with the Suns. This news made my day. Amare will still make his ton of money, as he should. I look at him at a rank of around 7 in the NBA.

You all heard about the Cleveland Cavaliers calling up my man Tom Izzo from Michigan State. All my readers know how much I love my Green! Anyway, Izzo will only coach the Cavs if he gets confirmation that LBJ is staying in Cleveland.

Former Mavs coach Avery Johnson is my favorite former NBA coach on the market. After all, he did win the West and 60 games one year. It seems almost certain that he will finally get a job with the New Jersey Nets. Great move.

With the sixth pick in the NBA Draft, the Golden State Warriors will probably pick Xavier Henry. At least, that is what is on the rumor mill. GM Larry Riley is very interested in Henry. They don't need to take a shooting guard, but they want to take the best player available. This is a bad move. They already have great guards. They need some big men.

Hopefully, the Los Angeles Clippers will get bought out. Cofounder of DreamWorks SKG, David Geffen wants to buy the Clips. Well, 51 percent of the team. He already had dinner with the current owner. Yeah, that jerk Donald Sterling. I don't think things are looking that good for Geffen because Sterling already has to deal with celebrities in the crowd during games. Plus, Geffen told a complete lying telling Sterling that he could get LeBron James.

When the Chicago Bulls hired new coach Tom Thibodeau, everyone thought that LBJ was going to Chicago. Too bad Obama, James doesn't care. Former Knicks star Charles Oakley told James not to go to New York because of the reporters there.

Jay-Z is letting back on trying to recruit his friend. You guessed it. His friend is LeBron James. Carmelo Anthony and LeBron James are best friends. Anthony says what I think. LeBron is staying in Cleveland.

Mark Jackson and Dwane Casey are still competing for the Atlanta Hawks open job for head coaching. Jackson will get another interview with the team. Avery Johnson and Larry Drew are also in the running.
