Lebron James becomes the youngest NBA player to reach 11000 points.

November 19th 2008 05:57
With a jump shot late in the first quarter against the New Jersey Nets, Lebron James became the youngest player in NBA History to reach 11,000 points at 23 years and 324 days, bettering the previous record by more that a year and replacing Kobe Bryant, who had held the record at 25 years and 99 days. The Cavaliers won their eighth straight game 106-82, and they are first in the Central Division of the Eastern Conference with a 9-2 record. Lebron is scheduled to be a free agent in 2010, and the Nets are believed to be one of his potential suitors, partly because one of Lebron's friends, Rapper Jay-Z, is a part owner of the Nets.
