My Man Ubaldo

I was one of the many sportswriters that predicted a big season for Jimenez. So far he has followed suit. A big performance against the Atlanta Braves was the first no-hitter in Rockies' history. In fact, nobody has come closer. Miguel Olivo looks like a genius, predicting the no-hitter. Olivo has also worked well defensively, offensively, and with his pitching staff. This is also a breakout year for Olivo.
Ubaldo Jimenez has a doctor's degree. He studied through college and held off on the MLB to respect his parent's wishes. Although Jimenez walked six batters against the difficult Braves' lineup, he remained walk-free after the fifth inning. Ubaldo Jimenez was hitting 100 during the game. His last pitch of the game ended up a groundout off of Brian McCann's bat to Clint Barmes. That pitch was hit 98 mph, the 128th pitch of the night. This shows his control, speed, and endurance.
The NHL and NBA playoffs have gotten of well. Andre Miller scored 31 to help the Blazers nick the Suns. I also like how the Penguins have bounced back. Nowitzki looks unstoppable with the 36 points. Sweet dreams for a beautiful night Greg Popovich.
Craig Anderson and the Avalanche are really ticking me off. I hate it when teams get lucky like this and win 1-0 in overtime on a crazy goal. I like it when the better team wins, but upsets are good for hockey.
Comment here if you think Pau Gasol and Ron Artest will be more important than Kobe in these playoffs. Did you see Gasol offensively? How about Bynum? By the way, Artest was the first player to officially frustrate Kevin Durant. Look past the flukish 24 points. Those came from all his shots and free throws. Durant sucked. Ron Ron completely frustrated him and showed him the real playoff world. Phil Jackson's comments were completely acceptable. Durant is great, but all his points come up from the billion shots he takes and all those free throws.
The Jazz are unoffically knocked out. Mehmet Okur is done for the rest of the playoffs. Judging by how the first game went, a maximum of two more games will be won by Utah in the rest of the series.
Kevin Garnett was suspended and Joakim Noah called him 'dirty'. I wish Quentin Richardson was suspended as well. Q is all mouth and no game. He instigated the whole thing. Paul Pierce may be an actor, but that is not something Q has the right to say.
