NBA Game Recaps

I just want to put a few sentences in here about how thankful I am. Without you readers, I probably wouldn't keep writing posts. Thank you for the over one hundred individual readers I have, and over four hundred hit count. Thanks for your support.
I have decided to do something new from time to time. I feel like recapping scores and important stats in basketball games from the night before when I have time. I would like comments and opinions on whether or not you like this idea, or ideas of posts I can create. Let's get started.
The Atlanta Hawks beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 98-92. Kevin Love had 19 points and twelve rebounds. Josh Smith led the Hawks with a big game. The star forward scored 27 points with ten rebounds and five assists. Joe Johnson dropped 21 points and also dished out five assists. Big man Al Horford continued his dominance as he was one of three players on the Hawks to post five assists, and he was also one of three players in the game to post a double double. He scored eleven points and had thirteen boards.
The Portland Trail Blazers blew out the Toronto Raptors 101-87. Andre Miller was three boards away from a triple double. He did have a double double with his ten assists and eighteen points to couple with seven rebounds. His defense was there as well, as he stole the ball three times. Superstar guard Brandon Roy dropped twenty points on the Raptors, and he also had five assits and five rebounds. Rudy Fernandez came of the bench and had seven rebounds with seventeen points. For the Raptors, Hedo Turkoglu led the way with 24 points. Andre Bargnani had fifteen points and six rebounds. PG Jarrett Jack had eight assists and 18 points. Amir Johnson came off the bench with ten points and eight rebounds
The Memphis Grizzlies survived the Washington Wizards 99-94. Zach Randolph had a big day, with a team-leading 22 points and nine rebounds. Marc Gasol and Rudy Gay each had twenty points and seven boards, but Gay also had three steals. OJ Mayo had 17 points, 5 rebounds, and eight assists. Andray Baltche led the Wizards with a game-high 24 with eight boards and five assists. Al Thornton posted the game's only double double with 16 points and 11 rebounds.
The Chicago Bulls beat the Indiana Pacers 120-110. Danny Granger had 20 points, 7 rebounds, and five assists. Luol Deng blew up with 31 points and nine rebounds.
The Milwaukee Bucks thrashed the New Orleans Hornets 115-95. Darren Collison has filled in admirably for Chris Paul. Collison had 22 points and 9 assists. Andrew Bogut finally posted a big game. He had 26 points with 13 rebounds.
The Orlando Magic blew out the Houston Rockets 110-92. Dwight Howard tortured Houston with his 30 points and 16 rebounds. Aaron Brooks posted a strong game for the Rockets with his 24 points, 6 rebounds, and 8 assists.
Those San Antonio Spurs beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 95-87. Kevin Durant had 21 points and 13 rebounds. Manu Ginobili finally had a big game with his 26 points and surprising 9 boards.
The Dallas Mavericks upset the Los Angeles Lakers 101-96. Lamar Odom had a nice game with his 21 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists. Dirk Nowitzki showed why he is so great with his 31 points and 9 rebounds.
My Phoenix Suns beat the Philadelphia 76ers 106-95. Andre Iguodala posted a nice all-around game with 20 points, 5 rebounds, and 6 assists. My man Steve Nash had 20 points and 13 assists.
The Charlotte Bobcats got ripped up by the surging Jazz 102-93. Gerald Wallace dropped 27 with 8 boards. Carlos Boozer was incredible with 33 points and 16 rebounds.
The LA Clippers, not Lakers, beat the Detroit Pistons. TayShaun Prince had a double double with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Drew Gooden was actually effective with 20 points and 13 rebounds.
To recap the recaps, I will pick the game of the night and the player of the night. The Mavs and Lakers game was clearly the game of the night. A five point game between two Western powerhouses. It was the Mavericks who came out on top in an upset. Are they establishing themselves as a contending team? We'll see in April.
It was unquestionable in my mind that Boozer was the man of the night. He scored the most points with 33, and tied with Dwight Howard for the most rebounds.
Carlos Boozer
