NBA Recap for 2/25

The Milwaukee Bucks squeaked by the Indiana Pacers 112-110 in a nail-biter. The Pacers, 19-39, actually played very well offensively. However, their defense has once again been the achillies tendon. Andrew Bogut once again had a big night with his double double. He scored 15 points with 10 rebounds. Earl Watson posted a good all-around game. He also had 15 points, but with 8 rebounds and 5 assists.
The Cleveland Cavaliers sealed themselves as the best team in the conference with their 20 point romping of their former running-mate Boston Celtics. LeBron James was once again fantastic, with his 36 points, 7 rebounds, and 9 assists. Rajon Rondo had a double double for the C's with 11 assists and 19 points.
The Denver Nuggets outscored the Golden State Warriors 127-112. This game was run by two star guards. Chauncey Billups had a night-high 37 points with 6 rebounds and 9 assists. Stephon Curry had a double double with 31 points, 7 rebounds, and a night-high 13 assists. The Warriors have actually lost 3 more games than the Pacers this season.
The game of the night was not the Celts and Cavs even though it should have been. The Celtics were just too awful. I liked the close game with the Bucks and Pacers.
The man of the night was even harder with a good performance from LeBron, and incredible ones from Billups and Curry. I took Billups because his team won, and because he also had the higher shooting percentage. It was a great basketball night overall. Even with just three games.
Chauncey Billups
