Key Player Injury Report
November 19th 2008 21:02
Kellen Winslow of the Browns had an MRI on his injured shoulder that revealed no structural damage, just a sprain. Winslow injured the shoulder on a 16 yard pass play that put the Browns in position for Phil Dawson, the Browns placekicker, to kick the game winning field goal. He did not practice, but is expected to play in this weeks game against the Texans. Brandon Jacobs, the running back for the New York Giants, had a precautionary MRI done on his knee, but the injury is not believed to be serious. He was held out of today's practice but is expected to participate in workouts tomorrow. For the Cowboys, wide receiver and kick returner Austin Miles is expected to miss two to four weeks with a sprained knee. Felix Jones the Cowboys backup running back and kick returner returned to practice after missing several weeks with a torn muscle in his hamstring, and he is expected to take over the kick return duties from Austin, who had taken over for Jones when he was injured.
