NFL Linebacker Ranking
July 23rd 2010 13:59
1-T. Ray Lewis (ILB) – Ray Lewis is still the best, despite his age.
1-T. Patrick Willis (ILB) – The best player on defense physically.
3-T. DeMarcus Ware (OLB) – Best rusher from the LB position today, doesn't
cover as well as he could though.
3-T. London Fletcher (MLB) – If anybody’s underrated in sports, it’s this guy.
5. Bart Scott (ILB) – Should help the Jets get to the Super Bowl this year.
6. Lofa Tatupu (MLB) – Very good, just plays on a bad team.
7-T. David Harris (ILB) – He needs a new contract, now.
7-T. Jon Beason (MLB) – Heart of the Panther’s defense.
9. DeMeco Ryans (MLB) – The heart of the Texans, don’t understand why they were trying to trade him.
10. Lance Briggs (OLB) – The best complete OLB.
11. Jerod Mayo (ILB) – The cornerstone LB of the Patriots.
12. Jonathan Vilma (MLB) – Super Bowl champion, was one of the few people doing something on defense.
13. Terrell Suggs (OLB) – One of the best OLBs in the NFL, paid like one too.
14. Shaun Phillips (OLB) – Now that Cromartie and Jamal Williams are gone, he’ll have to step up even more now.
15. Elvis Dumervil (OLB) – Basically like a second DE from the LB spot.
16. Rolando McClain (MLB) – Probably the top 3 most pro-ready players of this draft, should make an immediate impact for the Raiders.
17. James Harrison (OLB) – All he is is the blitz. Way overrated in my opinion.
18. Bryan Urlacher (MLB) – Getting old and injuries are starting to get him now. He’s still good, just not great any more.
19. Joey Porter (OLB) – This guy plays like he’s still 28 years old.
20. Brian Cushing (OLB) – Despite eligibly using illegal substances, even though the team knew about it, he is the undisputed RDPOY, and still a heck of a player.
Comment if you think I missed something.

I remember when I pulled the Lofton rookie card. That was nice because he was a guy I wanted for a long time.
