NHL Playoff Scope

EAST
Canadians and Penguins
Halak and Montreal made a huge upset against the Capitals. The Penguins are not going to go down. Have fun stopping the Pittsburghian Power Play. Penguins 4-1.
Bruins and Flyers
The Flyers lost too many stars to injury. They can keep this close, but I don't see them winning. Bruins 4-2.
West
Sharks and Red Wings
This is going to be a great series. The Red Wings won the west the past two years. Pavel Datsyuk is one of the best players in the game, and so is Henrik Zetterberg. John Franzen, Brian Rafalski, Niklas Kronwall, and Nicklas Lidstrom make up an incredible supporting cast. However, the Sharks finally got past their first round problems. I think they are nearly unstoppable. Joe Pavalski has the hot hand, and has a knack for scoring clutch goals. One name: Evgeni Nabokov. Sharks 4-3.
Canucks and Blackhawks
The Blackhawks won't win. I just don't see it. Marian Hossa, Jonathan Toews, and Patrick Kane are incredible players. Yet, Roberto Luongo is one of the game's best goaltenders. You just don't score on those kinds of guys easily. Luongo could very well end up being the MVP of these playoffs. Henrik Sedin emerged as one of the best players in the game. His brother Daniel is also pretty good. Ryan Kesler, Pavol Demitra, Kevin Bieksa, and Mikael Samuelsson are a fantastic supporting cast. Another great series. Canucks 4-2.
