Troy Murphy tipped in a missed shot by Marquis Daniels at the buzzer to give the Pacers a 118-117 victory over the L.A. Lakers. The Pacers seemed to headed for certain defeat at the end of the third quarter, when the Lakers closed out the quarter with a 17-0 run that put them ahead 101-86. However, The play of Troy Murphy and Danny Granger helped them claw back into the game. Danny Granger scored 32 points and Troy Murphy scored 16 points, but he also added 17 rebounds. Kobe Bryant led the Lakers with 28 points, and he became the second youngest person to score 22,000 point.s Wilt Chamberlain was one day younger when he scored 22,000.
