Pacman Jones Cleared to play against Ravens
It was initially feared that Dallas Cowboy's Cornerback Pacman Jones was finished for the season after injuring his neck returning a punt against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Jones missed the game against the Giants with the injury; and prior to playing in the Steelers game, Jones had missed the previous four games due to serving a four game suspension for getting in a fight with his bodyguard, who was hired by the Dallas Cowboys to keep him out of trouble. However, after being examined by a doctor, the swelling in the region had gone down, and he was cleared to play. The Dallas Cowboys are 9-5, and currently have one of the NFC Wild Card Slots. However, many teams are nipping at their heels to take over the slot, so the next two games against the Ravens and the Eagles will be crucial in deciding their fate. Pacman is in his third season out of West Virginia. He played his first two seasons for the Tennessee Titans prior to being suspended for all of the 2007 Football Season for conduct deemed detrimental to the league. Commissioner Goodell reinstated him at the beginning of the season, only to suspend him again after Week six.
