Pats Want Former Rival LB

Aaron Schobel used to be a terrorizing pass rusher when he played for the Buffalo Bills. He constantly gave problems to the front five in New England. The Patriots are interested in bolstering their mediocre pass rush by adding the former star.
Even though the 32 year old Schobel is in the down side of his career, he still managed 10 sacks last year. Now that's something the Patriots desperately need.
Texans owner Bob McNair wants Goodell to do a certain favor. Last year's Defensive Rookie of the Year Brian Cushing is suspended for four games. Cushing broke the rules on PEDs while accumulating 133 tackles last year. McNair says he will show the NFL commissioner new evidence in favor of the 23 year old linebacker. Good luck with that.
I don't get why the New York Giants would want Plaxico Burres back when Plax gets reinstated. It wouldn't make sense. They already have top weapon Steve Smith and good youngsters Mario Manningham and Hakeem Nicks. Kevin Boss is a pretty decent tight end as well. The Giants possess a formidable running game with the duo of Brandon Jacobs and Ahmad Bradshaw.
Burress would make the team too crowded on a receiving front. He would greatly help Manning and the team, but at this point I just think both teams have moved in different directions for good. This signing could only happen next year in the summer, but it is always good to look into the future.
