Saints destroy the Packers 51-29
The New Orleans Saints destroyed the Green Bay Packers 51-29 on Monday Night Football. The New Orleans Saints offense was unstoppable. Drew Brees torched the Packer's number 3 passing defense for 323 yards and 4 TDs, completing 20/26 passes. It could have been worse if Brees had not been trying to run out the clock in the 4th Quarter. Aaron Rodgers completed 23 of 41 passes for 248 yards and 2 TDs, but he threw 3 crucial interceptions. As bad as they looked, the Packers playoff chances are better than those of the Saints. The Packers are 5-6, still only one game behind both the Chicago Bears and the Minnesota Vikings. The Saints are 6-5, two games behind the Panthers and the Buccaneers, and they face an uphill climb to get a Wildcard, because they have several teams that are ahead of them in that chase.
