Adonal Foyle
Kerosene Lamp Foundation
Adonal Foyle was not a good basketball player by any means. However, Foyle is an incredible person. He mentored Dwight Howard while they both were centers for the Magic. Foyle's help was off the court as well. Adonal Foyle is in the Sports Humanitarian Hall of Fame due to charitable work. His charity is called the Kerosene Lamp Foundation. The KLF inspires youth to become better people.

Foyle played 13 years in the NBA for the Warriors, Magic, and Grizzlies. He had a brief stint in Memphis, but he played ten seasons for the Warriors as well as three with the Magic. The teams were listed in chronological order. Foyle was also the first vice president of the NBPA- National Basketball Players Association. He is going to resign from that post this week.

Magic Johnson owns five percent of the Lakers and works with the personnel and marketing departments, but he wants to own more of a team and work more in the front office. The Lakers did not offer him any of those choices, so he is now faced with a tough decision. Leave working for his favorite team and the one he played for, or just stay.

The Detroit Pistons is team that Magic would want to partially own or work for in the front office. Most say that Magic will leave LA. I agree. Magic has always wanted to play a big role in an organization.

The owner selling the Palace and the Pistons wants 500 million dollars. Bidders and industry insiders say that the price is too high by about 100 million. Some other people even say that 400 million might be too much to ask. Get ready to pay Ilitch.

The second shortest NBA player- 5 foot 5- has been contacted by the Atlanta Hawks. Point guard Earl Boykins can still help your depth at guard, even at the age of 34. The Hawks want the depth. Boykins has played for eight teams in his career of 11 seasons. The veteran knowledge could be helpful as well.

Coach George Karl's son Coby was waived, but he will be resigned. Coby Karl wants to play for his father. If he was with the team for another day, then he would be set to make a little over 850K. It is a well-hearted move made by the Nuggets, especially with all this Carmelo stuff going on.
