Steelers defeat Ravens 13-9 to win AFC North

Ben Roethlisberger hit Santonio Holmes with a four yard touchdown pass with fifty seconds remaining in the game to give the Pittsburgh Steelers the lead. The play was initially ruled short of the goal line; but after an official review, it was determined that Santonio caught the ball with both feet inside the end zone so he was awarded the touchdown. Joe Flacco had his last-ditch pass intercepted by Pittsburgh Cornerback William Gay in the end zone to secure the victory. The Steelers claimed the AFC North Title by virtue of the victory, but the Ravens, who are in the same division, are still alive for a Wild Card Birth. The game was a battle of two of the league's top defenses, but the Steelers Offense got the better of the Ravens defense, gaining 311 yards to the Ravens 202. Roethlisberger was 22/40 for 246 yards, with 1 TD and no Interceptions. Rookie Quarterback, Joe Flacco, on the other hand, was 11/28 for 115 yards and two interceptions.
