Dirk Nowitzki scored 39 points and Jose Barea, who had a season high 15 points on Tuesday against the Clippers, scored 18 against the Suns. Jason Terry added 19 for the Mavericks coming off of the bench, and he also chipped in six assists. Eric Dampier led the Mavericks in rebounds with 14. Amar'e Stoudemire led the Suns with 28 points. Steve Nash added 20 points and ten assists. The leading rebounder for the Suns was forward Matt Barnes who had just six rebounds. The Suns are now 11-9, 5.5 gains behind the Lakers in the Pacific Division, and they are currently holding the 8th seed in the Western Conference. The Mavericks are in third place in the Southwest Division, one and a half games behind the Rockets, and they are the 7th seed in the West.
