The Nationals are Stupid

August 22nd 2010 07:32
The dumbest team in baseball has to be the Washington Nationals. Why the heck did they rush Strasburg off the DL to pitch another meaningless game for this sagging ballclub?

Did they not realize that Strasburg could be injured again? It's great that the Nats are lucky enough to get these players, but if you don't know what to do with top prospects then all is lost. These are gems that you have to take care of. If Strasburg ends of injured for most of his career, we will have the Nats to blame of it.

Mike Rizzo constantly overvalues players when he trades. Rizzo thinks that Adam Dunn is more valuable than Daniel Hudson and another top prospect. I really think that Strasburg should never have pitched a game since his first injury. Now that a second one has happened, it looks like Rizzo and Washington are in a huge hole.

I have no idea why the Seattle Seahawks want Vincent Jackson so badly. They already have Housh. Their problem is that they have no quarterback. They still believe in Hasselbeck. Because they have faith in the old one, it will be another long season in Seattle.

The Seahawks are a crazy football team. They still use Julius Jones when they have Justin Forsett on their roster. That makes no sense. I hope the Arizona Cardinals are only using a motivational ploy when they say that Tim Hightower is over Beanie Wells on the depth chart. Same with the Chiefs and Thomas Jones over Jamaal Charles.

I agree with Strasburg. Either they keep him in the minors where he can pitch on a set schedule until they're ready to compete or they remain very careful over how they use him in the Bigs. It'll be interesting to see how they use Harper too
